My Pansies on December 2

My potted pansies are still blooming and looking pretty this gray, rainy December morning. This is why I like pansies much better than mums as fall flowers. They last and last, until a hard, hard freeze finally gets them.

Wow, that's always nice to see on a snowy cold winter's morning!!

You've living much too far north, Michele. :) Kentucky would probably seem tropical compared to the winters that you're used to!

A couple other pots of pansies are blooming more profusely, but it was raining when I took this photo. This was the handiest pansy to photograph from the carport.

The only thing still blooming at my place is catnip. But I still have a few tomatoes ripening in my cold room.

Your cats probably appreciate the fresh herbs. :)
