Sandhill Crane Webcam 2007

Migratory spectacle on the Platte River

Carolyn Hall of Bassett, NE, sent the following interesting link, and I decided to post it for my readers who like birds:

This is the National Geographic's Sandhill Crane live camera at Rowe Sanctuary near Gibbon, Nebraska. If you have dial-up like I do, you probably won't be able to download the video fast enough to see much, but if you have a high-speed connection, you will be able to enjoy the sight and sounds of the cranes.

Carolyn says, "You might also mention that their computer needs RealPlayer. Then to make the little picture on NGM bigger, click on the top left corner of the picture and it will ask if you want theater style which is full screen."
