Huge Pot of Petunias

More About Trees and Plants...

Big basket of petuniasI took care of a neighbor's dogs for several days a few weeks ago , and today, they brought me the most beautiful pot of petunias as a thank-you. It wasn't necessary at all for them to do this, but it was sweet of them.

It's one of the largest hanging baskets I've ever seen. In fact, it is so heavy that I'm afraid to hang it. I just hope I will be able to keep them looking nice because the plants are already so large. Petunias usually endure for a long time, though.

To give an idea of how huge this basket is, it's sitting on a chunk of an electric pole, and the concrete squirrel below it is a little larger than life-size!
